The 2026 edition of the yearly Powtech Technopharm expo, which takes place in Nuremberg, Germany from September 29 to October 1, will be used as a platform by process, packaging and materials handling solutions provider Haver & Boecker to showcase its latest bulk handling and packing offering.

Haver & Boecker will also display its filter methods for wire mesh and advancements in AI-based processes under the theme AIR, or Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

The company says visitors to the event can discover AI-based solutions for plant optimisation presented by Haver & Boecker and its technology brand Quat2ro, as well as bulk materials handling filtration systems designer AML Bulk Technology, bag filling machine manufacturer Behn+Bates and bulk materials handling solutions provider IBAU Hamburg.

AIR technology will be a special focus, with the Haver & Boecker machinery division featuring a centralised bag de-palletising and palletising robot and AI-based camera systems for automated quality control.

With these solutions, the manufacturer helps to equip customers with innovative technology that “relieves operators from repetitive, high-strain tasks” and enables them to focus on process optimisation and preventive actions.

“Traditional automation alone is no longer enough to address today’s operational realities,” says Haver & Boecker MD Florian Festge, adding that, inspired by customers’ experiences, the company has developed intelligent tools that will help make production even more efficient and qualitative.

The Portfolio

The Haver & Boecker machinery division will showcase several AIR systems that allow for full process automation and optimisation.

For example, visitors will be able to watch the Amicus Smart Cell, which features a palletising and de-palletising robot, automatically feeding empty bags to the filling machine and palletising filled bags.

Haver & Boecker also offers a bespoke solution that provides customised support for bag design and packaging material; the company’s experts will be available for in-booth consultations.

Meanwhile, clients who are interested in AI-based performance analysis and optimisation can discuss the benefits of the Haver & Boecker Quat2ro AI suite.

With the AI-powered Q Valve Check camera, for instance, companies can ensure that valve bags are correctly opened before being attached and filled, significantly decreasing machine errors and product loss.

The Q Seal Check system enables faster detection of improperly sealed bags, reducing effort and time spent on retroactive troubleshooting.

Clients will also be able to learn how to evaluate live production data and use intelligent systems to increase productivity and efficiency.

Dry Goods

Haver & Boecker’s food industry brand Behn + Bates will highlight its hygienic Adams Care-Line Edition form-fill-seal machine for sensitive, powdered foods and pharmaceuticals.

Additionally, clients interested in customised solutions for bulk materials storage, conveying, mixing and transport can discuss these with the experts from IBAU Hamburg at the booth.

From plant engineering and silo technology to high-quality components, IBAU Hamburg offers numerous services and equipment solutions for the cement, minerals and dry mortar industries.

At Powtech Technopharm, Haver & Boecker will also highlight its extensive upgrades programme, which allows for the integration of tailored equipment into existing plants for higher efficiency.

Further, its Wire Weaving division will showcase its resource-efficient repair solutions for the Porostar filter components, such as filter plates and centrifuge drums.
